- Old serving tray, Milnerton Market, bartered down to 20 bucks.
- Two silver spoons, R10 for two, sold by creepy silversmith at same market.
- Wooden numbers (spray-paint optional)
- A drill (and someone handy to use it)
- A good strong mechanism

Dalene Plasket lives by a simple
mantra: don’t buy anything new when you can make it yourself. Her frugality shows
